Angela van Daal hails from Queensland, Australia and sought tenancy in my NYC Upper East Side apartment in  April 2022 in order to be closer to her son and newborn grandson.   She passed credit and background checks, but had no landlord references due to having been a home owner in Australia for over 20 years. 

 

In March 2023 without any explanation and despite repeated requests, she stopped paying her rent.  She repeatedly denied entry to the apartment for previously-scheduled inspections and requested repairs.  In June 2023, she was finally evicted for non-payment of rent by New York City's Housing Court and a monetary

judgement entered against her for non-payment of rent.

To date, this judgement remains unpaid and Angela van Daal has disappeared without leaving a forwarding address and is no longer employed at her previous place of  remote employment in a North Texas-based forensics laboratory. She is also affiliated with consulting business DNA Forensic Consulting LLC based in Wimberley, Texas.
